From a Single Smartphone to National Awards: The RandomTyms Journey

Every big tech framework claims you need expensive desktop setups and massive software budgets to build conversational AI. I set out to prove them wrong.

Built and deployed entirely from my home in Chennai on a single smartphone, RandomTyms was created to protect the next generation. Today, our core module—Digital Dharma—stands as a bilingual (Tamil & English) interactive cyber-safety shield for primary school kids, parents, and teachers. No logins, no tracking, completely ad-free, and built to run 100% offline so it works flawlessly inside any Indian classroom.

1. Official National Recognition

Our cartoon safety storyboards were built to give children practical rules for the digital world rather than textbook definitions. That mission caught the attention of the Indian government's highest technology review boards.

MeitY ISEA National Level Award Certificate

Proudly receiving the State Level Second Prize from the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) ISEA National Competition.

2. Mainstream Media Showcase

Our unique Tanglish storytelling model—teaching children complex concepts like gravity through local elements like a slipping murukku instead of falling apples—was showcased nationally.

The Hindu Newspaper Feature

Our grassroots educational approach featured in The Hindu's Education Plus showcase.

3. Big Tech & Google DevRel Validation

When we pushed our Progressive Web App (PWA) framework parameters to the global Chromium tracking logs, the core team responsible for the world's web browser capabilities personally reviewed our smartphone setup.

Thomas Steiner Google Review Email

Direct validation from Thomas Steiner, PhD, Developer Relations Engineer at Google Spain, calling the mobile-built framework "truly impressive."

4. The Digital Dharma Platform Today

We are constantly expanding. By integrating lightweight Google AI Studio models and structuring assets cleanly via Service Workers, our interactive ecosystem is completely live and installable on student devices right now.
