How the RandomTyms Quiz Works
A simple, ready-to-use quiz your students can take right on this page — no app to install, no login needed.
Prepare your questions
Make a simple text file (CSV) with one question per line, in this order: the question, four answer choices, and which one is correct (as a number 1–4).
Here, "3" means the 3rd option (12) is the correct answer.
Load the quiz
On the quiz page, choose your file (or paste a link to it) and tap Start Quiz. Questions appear in a new random order every single time — so even the same file feels fresh for repeat practice.
Students answer, one question at a time
Each question shows four tappable options. As soon as a student picks one:
- Correct Lokesh & Varsha celebrate, the score goes up, and the student taps Continue.
- Wrong Lokesh & Varsha show the right answer so the student learns it on the spot, then taps Continue.
See the final result
After the last question, the student sees their score and a message based on how they did:
- Above 90% — "Congrats! Cool Dude ๐"
- Above 80% — "Good try ๐ Keep it up!"
- Above 70% — "Better luck next time"
- Below 70% — "Today is not your day ๐ "
They can tap Try Again to attempt it again with the questions freshly reshuffled.
๐ก A few tips for the classroom
- Keep questions short and options clearly different from each other — easier to read at a glance.
- One topic per quiz file works best (e.g. one file for tables, another for shapes) so students can revisit and practice a specific skill.
- Because questions shuffle every attempt, students can retake the same quiz for practice without memorizing the order.
